• Frames - Our frames come galvanized or powder coated. We use Allied Steel products made from cold-rolled, galvanized tubular steel with a triple layer of protection. Allied products outperform most steels in tensile strength and long-term corrosion resistance, as well as saltwater spray and other weathering tests.
• Fabric - Our Sunguard Shade Cloth™ is known for its great strength, vibrant colors and durability. We use a high-density polyethylene fabric, with ultraviolet additives. The fabric is rachel knitted which ensures fabric stability and prevents it from fraying, even when cut. This special knitting also ensures a consistent shade pattern. Our fabric, Sunguard Shade Cloth™, is tested by an independent laboratory to verify and certify that all the fabric blocks the stated percent of ultraviolet radiation. The breathable fabric allows for air flow and drops the temperature up to 20 degrees. Our fabric passes the ASTM E-84 fire rating test as well as the NFPA-701 and is rated a Class 1 Material.
• Thread – Our advanced stitching thread is an expanded PTFE (a unique polymer, very different from polyester) from the W.L. Gore Company. The thread is non-aging and will not deteriorate from exposure to the elements - even after years of exposure. The thread carries a lifetime guarantee and will not rot due to ultraviolet exposure or other environmental causes.

They can endure the harshest weather conditions and can withstand wind speed up to 170 mph.

It generally takes 5 to 10 minutes for one person to easily remove the cover from our standard structures.
